Mary Poppins is one of the most beloved film characters of all time. As soon as Julie Andrews flew out of the sky with her umbrella in 1964, audiences fell in love. Well, in 2018, the famous nanny has returned. This time, she's played by Emily Blunt. The cast looks a lot different...with one very familiar exception.

Yup, that's right. Dick Van Dyke is back. He's not reprising his iconic role as tap dancing chimney sweep Bert, but the old man in the bank, Mr. Dawes Senior. In the original film, Van Dyke donned makeup to make it seem like he was in his nineties. Now, he is 92 years old. His surprise appearance caused a buzz on Twitter.

Mary Poppins fans will also be thrilled to see that the sequel includes another animated animal dance routine. Dick Van Dyke doing penguin choreography will never get old.

The Mary Poppins Returns trailer features a cameo from another beloved Hollywood vet, Angela Lansbury, no stranger to the Disney universe. Other stars include Lin-Manuel Miranda, who seems to be playing a role similar to Van Dyke's Bert, Ben Whishaw and Emily Mortimer as the grown up Banks children, and Julie Walters as housekeeper Ellen. Meryl Streep appears as Poppins's cousin Topsy and Colin Firth plays a banker.
The only thing missing, it would seem, is Ms. Andrews herself.
Mary Poppins Returns, directed by Rob Marshall, comes to theaters just in time for Christmas on December 19.
