Palin to Cain: 'Be candid' on allegations

Via POLITICO's GInger Gibson, Sarah Palin said Herman Cain - or "Herb," as she memorably called him during a Fox News appearance - said on "On The Record with Greta Van Susteren" that the presidential hopeful "needs to be candid and quite truthful about these sexual allegations."

Palin didn't say whether she believed the accusers, but did suggest that allegations can linger once they're made. Continue Reading

"It really sucks to be falsely accused, believe me I know because I have been also," she said. "Once a bell is rung it’s really hard to unring it. I’ve been accused of having affairs, and I’ve never had an affair in my life."

That would be a reference to a recent book suggesting she'd had affairs.
