When many people think about Planned Parenthood, they think about death: especially the 330,000 deaths the nation’s largest abortion provider wrought via their scalpels, syringes, and vacuum devices last year.
Others think of the abortion mammoth’s tacit support of gender-based abortions or their current efforts to export their death machine to Africa.
But too few people think about the financial windfall Planned Parenthood is certain to receive once ObamaCare goes into full effect, as too few people are right now thinking about the money that President Obama’s birth control/abortion pill mandate will place in Planned Parenthood coffers.
To understand this, consider the fact that one-third of Planned Parenthood’s income comes from STD testing and another third from contraceptives. If employers and the insurance companies they use are forced to provide contraceptives and abortion pills to employees, Planned Parenthood’s current net worth of $1,000,000,000 is certain to rise.
And besides the money it will take in, Planned Parenthood views a mandate like the one the Obama administration handed down as justification for continuing its marketing campaign to children 14 years and older. In other words, just as Planned Parenthood has been pushing abortion as a “women’s health” issue since 1973, it’s now pushing contraceptives and abortion pills as a “family health” issue.
At the bottom of it all, however, is this basic truth—the more sex at all ages, the more money for Planned Parenthood. Or to put it as the American Life League did, “Just as the goal of a drug dealer is to make drug addicts, Planned Parenthood’s goal is to make sex addicts.”

Once Planned Parenthood has raised a new generation of sex addicts, it can then profit from ending their “unwanted pregnancies” via abortions. And even before then, the abortion giant can make money dispensing faulty contraceptives and the STD treatments that necessarily follow.
In the UK, the University of Nottingham has done studies on the relationship between increased access to contraceptives and STDs among teens. The studies found that “areas operating a pharmacy emergency birth control scheme saw an overall increase of five percent in the rate of [STDs] among teenagers - 12 per cent in the under-16s age group.”
The bottom line: Planned Parenthood is going to profit greatly from the implementation of the Obama administration mandate. Sure, an untold number of teenagers will be scarred for life as a result, but that’s the price Planned Parenthood is willing to pay to keep their coffers full.
