We experienced an IED attack in New York City, natural disasters, and the threat of terrorist reprisals, yet the Democratic Party appears unable to adapt. This is where hostility toward a politician can lead to disastrous results; the problem is that their supporters love it. The Trump era will be examined for many reasons, including the rise of neo-populism, but the extent of insanity Democrats descended into during their time out of power is truly astonishing: they left the homeland vulnerable to attack in an attempt to harm Trump.
Beyond unpatriotic, that verges close to treason in my book. Democrats know the deportation operations helmed by Immigration and Customs Enforcement are funded through 2029 through the Big, Beautiful Bill—they whined for weeks in the lead-up to the final vote about it.
ICE raids, which are the crux of this recent DHS shutdown, are not impacted. So, what are we even doing here? And no, this shutdown did not impact what transpired between Trump and soon-to-be former DHS Secretary Kristi Noem.
Operation Epic Fury was necessary and just. The Iranians turned down unending nuclear fuel for domestic purposes from us, and admitted they had enough materials for 11 bombs, and likely would’ve had one if not for Midnight Hammer. Still, we tried to negotiate, but we’re in the process of dismantling this regime.
Yet, Democrats, if they could think, should know that Iran has sleeper cells internationally, being the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism, and they’re going to be activated to retaliate. DHS is the point of the lance in our protection from those threats, but Democrats want to keep it shut down. There is no argument here. There’s no legitimate counterpoint. We’re facing terrorists, and they damn near set off a bomb outside Gracie Mansion last week. Not even that can shake Democrats off their messaging, which exposes the rot of their entire operation.
Do we need a hijacked plane crashing into a building to wake them up here?
They want a terrorist attack, don’t they? And somehow they think they can weaponize that against the Trump administration. It’s what you get when you have morons helming your political operation, election strategy, and leadership on the Hill, along with equally insane people who vote for this agenda.
Preaching to the choir here, I know. But holy hell, guys.
