Let's talk about soft Republicans. There are two things that Kamala Harris always brings up to hit us conservatives over the head – the comprehensive bipartisan immigration reform bill and the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act (thanks, Senators James Lankford and John Cornyn). Listen, I don't elect people to be bipartisan. I want a conservative. "Well, if we're not bipartisan we'll never pass laws." Okay? And? So? I would rather not pass laws, as a general rule, but if we are going to, I'd rather pass laws that don't suck. I am a partisan, and I want my senators to be partisan. Should that be surprising to anyone?
