It was September 5th, 2018. I had just come back from a speaking engagement and turned on the TV to catch up on the news. That was when I caught the first glimpse of what would be the most hateful, chaotic and painful Supreme Court nomination in the history of our county.

As I watched one radical feminist after another escorted out of the hearing room, screaming, “Be a hero, vote no,” I knew Moms for America needed to be there. I had no idea what kind of influence, if any, we would have but I knew we had to at least try. What I witnessed firsthand during the Kavanaugh hearings is proof that Judge Amy Coney Barrett is desperately needed on the Supreme Court.

I watched as day after day, ANTIFA operatives, paid protestors and radical feminists stocked Senate halls, riding up and down elevators, accosting Republican senators. I witnessed the anger and ugliness of loutish women screaming obscenities as they carried their “KavaNo” signs. I personally witnessed the media parading through Senate halls following feminist protestors while completely ignoring every group of women who supported him. And I saw, as did the entire nation, how media and Democrat members of Congress (including Kamala Harris, the Democratic candidate for Vice President) viciously attack an innocent man and his family. And all for what?

As I sat in the basement cafeteria of the Dirksen Senate office building the day Ms. Ford and Judge Kavanaugh gave their testimonies, my question was answered. Across the room from our moms, was a group of feminists, some were ANTIFA feminists dressed in black from head to toe.  One of them approached me, politely, and asked how I, as a woman, could support Judge Kavanaugh.  I responded it was because he was a constitutionalist. When I asked her why she was so opposed to him she replied, “I was against him long before I knew about this.”

When I asked ‘why’ she abruptly responded, “Well, Abortion,” as if it should be obvious to me.

So, I asked her, “What if none of it is true?”

“What do you mean?” she asked.

“What if everything that Judge Kavanaugh has been accused of isn’t true?”

She paused for a moment and then answered, “It doesn’t matter.”

It doesn’t matter?

That is when I realized every court appointment going forward would be about one thing for media, feminists and Democrat politicians—killing babies. And it was clear they were willing to go to any length, tell any lie, destroy any life to amass power and further their agenda.

We didn’t make the Supreme Court about abortion—they did. We didn’t make the Supreme Court a platform for promoting and endorsing radical agendas—they did. If nothing else, the Kavanaugh hearings woke us up to what has been brewing behind closed doors for decades. The Kavanaugh Confirmation just shined the light on it. The moment Justice Kavanaugh was confirmed they all scurried back to their dark corners like little roaches. But they’re still there, wreaking havoc in the darkness with their backdoor deals, power grabs and diabolical plots ready to pounce on their next victim.

Enter: Judge Amy Coney Barrett.

President Trump’s nomination of a strong Constitutionalist to the Supreme Court has once again unleashed the rage of radical feminists. Democrat politicians are already plotting, and the media is poised to provide appropriate cover and echo talking points as needed, and we are once again poised to witness the clash of ideals on a grand scale.

The battle for the Supreme Court has nothing to do with truth, evidence, or qualifications. It is all about stopping the vote, delaying the process and doing whatever they can to stop President Trump’s very qualified constitutional appointments.

The sole responsibility of the Supreme Court is to ensure the Constitution is upheld, to interpret whether a law or policy is constitutional.  That is why Judge Barrett is an excellent choice for Supreme Court—because she understands and respects that sacred role.

If abortion is protected in the Constitution and Obamacare is in fact a constitutional law, why are they so afraid of appointing constitutionalist Judges?

Despite what feminists would have you believe; most women in America do not think protecting the right to kill our own children is the most important issue facing our country. We are much more concerned about the safety and wellbeing of our children. We are equally concerned for their future; ensuring their freedoms are protected, the rule of law is upheld, equal justice is sustained, and civility is returned.

As moms, we know appointments to the Supreme Court will affect our nation for decades—long into our children’s future. And that is why Moms for America wholeheartedly supports the swift, unfettered confirmation of Judge Amy Coney Barrett.
