In 2018, Democrat Stacey Abrams lost to Republican Governor Brian Kemp in the state of Georgia. To this day, Abrams has refused to admit she lost and claims minority voters were suppressed in order for Kemp to claim victory.

“You see, I'm supposed to say nice things and accept my fate. They will complain that I should not use this moment to recap what was done wrong or to demand a remedy,"  Abrams said in a post-election speech. "And I will not concede because the erosion of our democracy is not right."

Abrahams filed lawsuits and demanded recounts, pushing her supporters and campaign infrastructure to find the votes she needed. The lawsuit was tossed in court and the recounts proved again that Kemp had won.

“Stacey Abrams-founded Fair Fight Action and other plaintiffs filed an initial complaint in November 2018, shortly after Abrams lost her bid to become Georgia’s Governor, alleging illegal and unconstitutional practices had denied the right to vote to thousands of Georgians. The allegations attempted to raise issues regarding Georgia’s absentee ballot procedures, voter registration, and voter list management practices. The court has denied every allegation on each issue,” the Georgia Secretary of State's office details.

That didn’t change Abram’s attitude, and she still refuses to admit defeat.

Further, Abrams funded a group that deliberately spread false information about voting machines in the state and called the election process corrupt.

“A new report revealed that former Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams has been funding and supporting election disinformation through her voting organization, Fair Fight Action. According to the report, Abrams’ Fair Fight Action was one of the largest supporters of the Coalition for Good Governance, ‘a group that aggressively pushes conspiracy theories about voter fraud in Georgia,’” the Georgia Secretary of State’s office notes. “The report notes that ‘over the last several years, the group has frequently suggested that Georgia’s election system is unsecure and even corrupt.’ CGG has called Georgia’s Dominion Voting System ‘unauditable and unconstitutional.’ A ‘litigation summary’ on CGG’s website 'reiterates its claims of systems-based ‘anomalies’ and ‘misprogramming’ and alleges that the Secretary of State’s office ‘has obstructed all efforts to conduct forensic examination of these voting system anomalies.’”

Abrams was never charged by a single local district attorney for her behavior. The people who worked for her, including her election attorneys, were laughed at but never indicted on felonies.

Not so for President Donald Trump, whose mugshot from Fulton County Jail became famous on Thursday night when he turned himself in for processing.

The woman pursuing prison time for Trump, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, campaigned on using her office to go after him. She’s part of the “Get Trump Olympics,” with everyone from Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg to Special Prosector Jack Smith, New York Attorney General Letitia James, and now Willis competing for a gold medal. Each one of them wants to be the person who succeeds in stopping Trump from re-entering the White House for a second term. They're trying to be legendary.

Despite claims from Democrats they stand for norms and the rule of law, the latest salivating over Trump’s Georgia indictment — and the indictment of 18 Trump election attorneys and other associates — again proves otherwise.

The United States of America is viewed by the rest of the world as a shining city on a hill for a number of reasons, but on a fundamental, core level, those longing for freedom and opportunity look to the American judicial system as the fairest in the world and place hope in the equal application of the law. It has been a cornerstone to the success of the nation, and now it’s being shattered by the left as they continue the weaponization of government to meet their political goals.

The side of the aisle that claims to stand up for Democracy is railroading it. There is an election coming where the people of America can decide whether they’re willing to tolerate Trump’s 2020 antics through the power of their vote. Democrats are trying to take that away from the people by using the justice system to disqualify him or bog him down in the race. They have little faith President Joe Biden can successfully campaign against him and therefore, they’re destroying the system that was once respected in order to guarantee a victory.

This is how great countries fall apart. When the very pillars of its founding are struck down – not because they are unjust, but because bad men use them to solidify power through witch hunts of rivals – trust collapses and once great institutions become corrupt shells of their former selves. Democrats are tearing down the justice system and taking the country with it.
