Frank Dowse
Biography
Frank Dowse was former CEO of The Agemus Group and was the Managing Director for Toribos Inc, the US subsidiary to Toribos GmbH, a European-based Security Consulting Firm. Mr. Dowse has spent several years living, working, and operating around the world both in private business and government positions in the arena of international security and operational implementation. As an active duty Marine Officer, he spent over twenty years in various positions in tactical, operational, and policy assignments spanning aviation, operations, and intelligence. His assignments included Human Intelligence with the Defense Intelligence Agency, where he was posted to the US Embassy in Kiev Ukraine as a military attaché. He was also the Assistant Chief of Staff, Operations, Marine Forces Europe, the Training Officer, Navy Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape School, and participated in numerous deployments and exercises as a Fleet Marine Force officer and aviator at the squadron level in support of Marine Expeditionary Units (Special Operations Capable). His last active duty assignment was as the Senior Aide de Camp to the Supreme Allied Commander for NATO, and Commander, US European Command, based in Mons, Belgium. Mr. Dowse has participated in a wide spectrum of crisis security related endeavors worldwide, including executive protection, intelligence collection and analysis, security audits, interrogations and debriefs, kidnap and ransom resolution, geo-political assessments, and other consultation for high level corporate and individual clients. He also presently provides consultation for Naval Special Warfare (SEALs)
.Mr. Dowse hails from the San Francisco Bay Area, and is a graduate of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. He received his MBA from Purdue University, and an MA in International Security Affairs from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy and Harvard University’s Kennedy School as a USMC Graduate Fellow. Mr. Dowse speaks Russian, Ukrainian, and German, and has lectured and spoken in numerous fora internationally on the subjects of security, policy, and crisis planning. He has been featured on National Television, Radio, and in Newspaper articles, including Fox Business Network with Stuart Varney, CBS News, The Hugh Hewitt Show, PJTV.com San Diego Business Journal, and the San Diego Union Tribune, and was a featured consultant on the Spike TV Television Show, Deadliest Warrior: CIA vs KGB. He hosted an eight episode radio series on Global Corporate Crisis management called ThreatWatch, and is featured on Townhall.com. He completed a CD highlighting crisis management and steps for organizational leaders titled, When Crisis Strikes, co hosted with Hugh Hewitt and TownHall.com. He is a member of the ASIS International Security Professional’s Society, completing his Certified Protection Professional designation. Mr. Dowse lives in Southern California with his family, enjoys martial arts, reading, and is currently writing his first book.
