Prose & Contradiction – THE NEW YORK TIMES

  • We are not sure how you claim no proof exists, after providing it.

If there was ever an example of how the narratives take priority over journalism, The New York Times delivers one that typifies the practice. The default opposition to anything Trump does or says leads it into rake-stepping, face-planting results by not pausing to consider all facets. Nor does it consider if it covered a topic previously.

The Times came out with a “report” that echoes the current narrative in the press regarding DOGE, that being it has not provided evidence of the waste or fraud it contends is in place. Small problem. No wait, sorry – LARGE problem: This same outlet just reported how there have been hundreds of billions of dollars paid out in wasteful fashion. But today, contradicting Trump is far more important than, you know, being accurate. Or consistent.

Low-Octane Gaslighting – THE NEW YORK TIMES

  • When you fail to investigate, you will not find any proof. Conveniently.

Things are just not going well at The Times. Next, it is contending that recently confirmed Tulsi Gabbard has no proof in her claim that the infamous letter from 51 intelligence officials calling the Hunter Biden laptop a Russian op was crafted specifically to help Joe Biden’s election chances. Seriously, why would they even attempt to recast this story?!

Once again, The Paper of Record gets unraveled by the very evidence it claims does not exist. Miranda Devine was there to helpfully guide The Times through the emails that have long been known about, showing the signers of the letter were petitioned specifically to help give a plausibly deniable defense for the Biden campaign.

Artesanally-Crafted Narratives – THE TELEGRAPH

  • Seems a conveniently rapid, morbid result.

It was only a matter of time — hours, really — before the press would track down cases of people dying as a result of the Trump mandated spending freeze on foreign programs. We are surprised it took this long, to be honest.

Supposedly, an elderly woman in Myanmar has died as a result of her oxygen being cut off as a direct cause of Trump’s mandate.

And yet, the very NGO that was supposedly supplying the oxygen has millions of dollars in its coffers, but Trump has somehow caused this death to occur, directly.

Stealth Story Evolution – CHANNEL 9 NEWS, DENVER

  • When fake news is blamed on misspellings.

This local station told the sympathetic tale of an area resident who was picked up by immigration officials to be deported. Getting ready for his job, ICE agents asked for help locating someone, then checked the man’s credentials and found he too was an illegal resident.

The station initially reported this man had no criminal record, but then after being alerted by ICE that he had multiple DUI convictions, the story and headline was altered, and even the online history had been scrubbed.

News Avoidance Syndrome – VARIOUS OUTLETS

  • The number of reports on this development is a fraction of the outrage.

Recall, when Trump made mention that he was interested in going into Gaza and developing that area while relocating residents, the press was in full throated wailing about that being ethnic cleansing. Today, we hear far less follow up reports.

It appears this was another instance of Trump working on a longrange piece of negotiation, as the idea of the U.S. coming into the area angered many in the region. Now, Egypt has stepped in and declared that it will be the ones to undertake the work in that area. The quiet manner that this is being detailed in the media speaks volumes…even as they are not speaking about it.
