Demo-lition Project – MSNBC / CNN

  • The post-election slide continues to get worse.

It has been a remarkable development to see two major cable news channels having their audience figures dissolve since the Donald Trump election victory. Now, MSNBC and CNN have achieved yet a newer low.

So much of the base audience has walked away from them that the past week saw both channels register lower in the ratings than the Hallmark Channel Christmas movies.

Both Kinds of Standards – MSNBC

  • Guilty until proven innocent always applies to Republicans.

Jen Psaki is still posturing as a serious and valid voice in journalism, but her problem is she keeps proving this image is incorrect. For the latest, she delivers a criticism that Pete Hegseth shouldn't even be considered for the role of Secretary of Defense, all because he was accused of sexual assault years ago.

The fact that the police investigated and decided there was no need to bring charges is said to be inconsequential because he was not found innocent. Many have pointed out that barely a month ago, similar accusations brought against Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff were completely excused, but there is a more valid example.

If accusations are enough to keep someone from an important post in D.C., how does Jen explain Joe Biden being permitted to become president after he was accused of sexual predation?

Pathological Media Amnesia – THE DAILY BEAST

  • That word “stealing” seems quite misplaced, Ms. Reporter.

After being named as Donald Trump’s second choice for attorney general, the knives came out for former Florida AG Pam Bondi. One of the prevalent stories is that she has in her past a story of having stolen a family’s St. Bernard dog.

This is the bastardization of a story where she rescued the dog by adopting it from the Human Society, the dog found abandoned after Hurricane Katrina. The family tracked it down to Bondi, and a custody battle emerged, later to be settled. But despite having taken in the dog through legitimate means, the press continues to push this fake story, like the Tampa Bay Times tried when she ran for office in 2010.

Low-Octane Gaslighting – MOTHER JONES

  • Remember, David, when false COVID information was grounds for suspension?

In other Cabinet appointment hostilities, David Corn came out with what he feels is disqualifying information about Trump’s pick for the National Institutes of Health, Jay Bhattacharya. In what has become common practice these past couple of weeks, pushing out a fake narrative about the individual is considered acceptable journalism.

Pre-Written Field Reports – CBS NEWS

  • That assured demise in the court system does not materialize, and Scott is forlorn.

There is probably firm proof arriving that the Jack Smith indictments brought against Donald Trump were purely done to impact the election, as immediately after the Trump victory, Smith announced he had sent files to the court to have the cases dismissed entirely.

News of this has affected CBS News Congressional correspondent and January 6 obsessive Scott MacFarlane. He reads the six-page filing and you can visibly pick up on MacFarlane’s disappointment in this conclusion.

Pulitzer Prize Nomination - Political Cartoons – MICHAEL DE ADDER

  • It is nice to see the overconfidence displayed in graphic fashion.

Syndicated cartoonist Michael de Adder was convinced of two things ahead of the election: That Trump was an inherent threat to our democracy, and that he would lose in supreme fashion.

As a result, this entry appears poorly timed.

We are also tempted to play the hysterical games of the left with this image. We can say that he is showing the Statue of Liberty displaying the white supremacist “Okay” sign.
