The folks in charge of Fairfax County, Virginia have been perplexed in recent days. They've been trying to figure out why college students have not been sending back their absentee ballots.

So the county decided to hold a focus group to find out why -- and the answer could very well shake your confidence in western civilization.

It seems the No. 1 reason why college students did not return their absentee ballots is because they didn't know where to buy postage stamps.
