Americans believe the country is less powerful than it was before Obama took control, according to Fox News poll. Neil Cavuto suggested America's leaders are trying to send a message that the country is no longer exceptional. "These little indignities add up," Townhall's Guy Benson told Fox News, "I think if you just look at the polling, or if you just talk to Americans out there in everyday life, there's a real and nagging concern about American decline. Whether it's a stagnant economy over many years, whether it's an out-sized government that we can no longer pay for, whether it's seeming to be a government that is diminished in its ability to influence world events....There's this idea that America is no longer what it used to be."
