Northern Tool a couple of hours ago and seen the FIRST Obama sticker seen in MONTHS!
It was on a cheap, box shaped sedan with rear bumber loose and gray paint(?) splattered on the roof of the dull red body. Looked like a Honda, but nothing on the rear to indicate the make.
I thought that was the representative automobile for an Obama voter!
Most know this, but if not, WD 40 is the best tool known for removing any sort of sticker, old tape, etc. Simply spray a mite of WD 40 on the sticker/tape, let it set a few minutes then pull it off. This will work even if the sticker/tape is really old.

middle of what???"
I had the exact same thought, but then I started thinking that it was just a type-o and what paddycake liberal actually meant to post was "governing from the MUDDLE."

Socalcon is absolutely right that we are culpable for whom we vote for. I did not vote for Eddie Haskel back in 2000 and 2004—you guys did. I did not vote for the most singularly ridiculous person ever placed on a national ticket in 2008—you guys did. As for the fellow I voted for? Nothing pathetic about it. You need to get out more, chump. “Pathetic” is the little feedback loop you tools have been sucked into. “Pathetic” is leaving the marketplace of ideas and taking refuge in an echo chamber that tells you what you want to hear. “Pathetic” is ignoring the manifest failures of your worldview, or rather, acting as though the problem is the world and not the view. That’s “pathetic”—not voting for a guy who is capable of acting...

Americans are on the threshold of figuring it out. Heck, they elected a black man, for Chrissakes. But until they do, your generation of radical, ungovernable "conservatives" will continue to lead our country into not-greatness and oligarchy. Until they do, we are at risk of becoming a mere banana republic, bought and paid for, with a dead middle-class and an increasing number of tools whose aspirations have been killed.
As for the black President thing, as one who is profoundly aware of his own racism, I think it is really interesting that you would racialize Obama’s Presidency, as though your disappointment in him forestalls the election of any black Democrat. That is silly talk. It is in the nature of things for you to...

He IS governing from the middle. In the first place, some of the dissatisfaction in his Presidency is from the left. But more importantly, the right in this country is so far gone, so radicalized, that they believe a pragmatic moderate like Obama is a dangerous socialist.
When you are dealing with a segment of the population that has become untethered, however loud and over-represented (Reep muckity-mucks made the decision early in Obama's Presidency to stoke their anger rather than govern responsibly with the President through the most harrowing time in our country since the 1930s), you have no choice but to press ahead, despite their yelping. These are people led by emotion. In the fullness of time, they will calm down. ...

Time to throw the garbage out. This incompetent clown couldn't manage an empty box. Obama and the other two stooges need a long rail to ride out of town. What a disgrace to our once proud nation this idiot is.

Here's a little dose of reality to smack you across your ranting uneducated mug.
Bush's tax cuts brought us out of the clinton era recession.
2004-2006 saw record highs in the market.
In 2004, Bush (and McCain) warned of the potential negative impact on the economy by an out of control Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae if reforms weren't put in place. But barnie frank and chris dodd said everything was just fine.
The 2007 budget (the last Republican budget)was the lowest budget deficit over the past 8 years.
Since 2006, the economy has been in decline. And what significant event happened in 2006. Oh yeah, that's right, the dimwitcrats took over both the house and senate. Your messiah was a voting...

is in the teabaggers' sad, deluded fantasy land where the GOP isn't the clown car of idiots that the real world has come to acknowledge them for.
Wake up, teabaggers. It's time to face reality and deal with the lot your Party has dumped on America for the last decade. It's YOUR fault - stop trying to pretend it's not.

Thing is, all the carping coming out of the teabagging community is aimed at policies and crippling debt that BUSH and the GOP dumped on you. If you have sticker shock, it's because you can't FIND a way to rightly off-load your wretched leadership's ineptitude onto Obama.
There is no way in hell that the GOP should EVER be let loose to crap on this country again.

"The alien presence in the White House is un-American in many ways especially in his Progressivism in comparison to FDR's. FDR's Progressivism was inseparable from American Exceptionalism and a vision of American greatness in the world. But not Obama's Progressivism: it's not the Progressivism of an American President advancing the interests of his country; but of a post-American, post-nation state President who lives in the infantile fantasy that he's President of the world doing what's right for mankind."

Arch?
Arch says:Obama has damaged the possibilities of all lib black politicians of the future. Mostly because of his own leftward dash toward socialism! The populace rejects this over 75% and the fool stubbornly stepped in it neck deep!
~~~
What would we call those who support this massive failure in the Oval Office? They expend all their energy rationalizing their incorrect decision to vote for the 'empty vase' candidate. Before, they were pathetically ignorant, now merely pathetic.
"who was sold a bill of goods? Obama is doing what he said he would do--what he was elected to do."
The 10 million or so in middle america that beleived he would govern from the middle (his words). I didn't vote for him becuase he didn't fool me with his BS (pun intended). There were 7 million that were gullible enough though. Hardly a mandate. It was more a computerized technical victory. I will give the campaign kudos for finding the best way to point the laser of the "unprecedented" (his favorite new word) amount they spent.
Like I said, Buyer's Remorse has a place. It was implemented to negate the naive from the Snake Oil salesman. If you cannot get that, than I have nothing more to say.
Do yourself a favor,...
..fumigation was needed when that Eddie Haskel of a President, Bush Junior, left the Office. Yikes, what a stink.
To the man's credit, he recognized the financial collapse for what it was and took the appropriate, if unpopular, measures. But beyond that, Bush was a towering mediocrity, entirely too small for the job. So if fumigation was required after Clinton, it was required after Bush--for different reasons.
Lot of whining from the Reeps, no doubt, but not because of caveat emptor. The whining is because Obama has been relatively successful in following through on his commitments.
Into Europe... Coming from there already, why should any of us bother staying here then? You want to throw it all away, move there.
People were sold a bill of goods.In Contract Law, they call it Buyer's Remorse. The allowable grace period to reneg is 2 years plus another resolve at 4 years.
hey, you govern..
..you do big things, people get angry. No problem. This is a major league President who will be as influential as Reagan in realigning American life. No wonder you hate him. I mean, you lack the ability to see things from the historic perspective, so from your day-to-day emotional vantage, I am sure you really think that bumper stickers going down means something.
Cracks me up that a punk like cotton refers to the President as a "punk." The irony to THAT is beautiful.
arch says
PL. Obama is a mere punk! He will not change history for the good! In fact he will make it so that no democrat black man will ever be POTUS again! Nobody...
