Well, this fiasco is finally over. Jussie Smollett, an actor on the series “Empire,” has been formally charged for filing a false police report. Smollett’s hate crime was a total hoax. Remember that two white dudes punched him, poured bleach on him, and then tied a rope around his neck on January 29? Well, the so-called attack was actually committed by two Nigerian brothers; one of whom was an extra on “Empire,” while the other was Smollett’s former personal trainer. They were reportedly paid to execute this fake assault, bought the rope used in the attack, and held rehearsals. And while the Chicago Police Department was digging through all of this, where the evidence to corroborate it was shoddy from the start, the liberal media ate this up and peddled more trash about Trump and his supporters.
Well, now that Smollett’s story has totally collapsed, why did he do it? It seems it was over a salary dispute, though there was another theory that he executed this hoax because a racist letter that he allegedly created and sent to himself did not get enough media attention. Well, in both cases, he got attention…just not the one that benefitted him or helped the liberal media shore up their vicious and hateful narrative against supporters of President Trump. There is a silver lining here: a hate crime didn’t occur. That’s a good thing. America has had its problems. It still does, but we’ve come a long way. It’s not as racist as the media would like it to be for some perverted reason. Heck, lefties have to straight up make up hate crimes to keep this narrative on life support. So, with Smollett in ruins, let’s not forget that he was rather high and mighty during the 2016 election. He’s no fan of Trump. He has made that known explicitly, but since progressives have become the social media police to get their enemies, let’s rehash this one from March of 2016 from the disgraced actor:
Who is more to blame? A Devil who spreads obvious lies or a fool who chooses to believe those lies and pass them along? ?? #Thoughts

Well, Jussie, you’re the devil, I guess. You fabricated a story. You generated fake news (via WFSB):
The actor "took advantage of the pain and anger of racism to promote his career," police Superintendent Eddie Johnson said.
"This publicity stunt was a scar that Chicago didn't earn and certainly didn't deserve," he added.
As part of the instructions, Smollett also told the brothers to put the rope around his neck, Assistant State's Attorney Risa Lanier told a news conference.
His plans for the surveillance camera were thwarted. Police say it was pointed another way and did not have a view of the beating.
At Smollett's first court appearance, a judge set bond at $100,000, meaning that he must post $10,000 to be released. Smollett's attorneys asked for him to be released on his own recognizance, but the judge, who is also black, said that was inappropriate and that he was particularly bothered by the allegations involving the noose.
And of course, he still believes he’s innocent, with his lawyers certainly earning their pay. So, he’s a fool too. Well, that’s obvious as well.
