The Economy "Crashes in 2037 Because of This Massive Burden of Debt"

As Ryan Budget Day rolls out, Rep. Paul Ryan has done a tremendous job discussing and explaining the message behind his "Path to Prosperity." His latest is a video explaining the dire fiscal situation the country finds itself in.

One of the strongest messages that comes out of the video is when Rep. Ryan says, "I asked the Congressional Budget Office to model the economy going forward, and they have these computer programs that simulate the U.S. economy. The program crashes in 2037 because it can't conceive of any way in which the U.S. economy can continue because of this massive burden of debt."

I wouldn't be surprised if the Left accuses Ryan of scaremongering. But the situation that we find ourselves in is scary indeed.
