Boring! Trump Literally Throws His Speech Notes Over His Shoulder During Tax Round Table

During a round table discussion on tax cuts in West Virginia Thursday afternoon, President Trump literally threw his remarks off the table and said they were "boring."

"You know, this was going to be my remarks. It would have taken about two minutes, but the hell with it," Trump said as he tossed a sheet of paper over his shoulder. "That would have been a little boring. A little boring. I was reading off the first paragraph and thought, 'This is boring, we have to tell it like it is.'"

President Trump heard from a number of individuals, companies and small community banks who have benefited from the Republican tax cuts and jobs plan, which was passed in December.

During the event, Trump slammed Democrat Senator Joe Manchin for voting against the tax cuts and insisted "we need more Republicans in Congress."

"If you look at your Senator, Joe, he voted against our tax cuts and that was bad," Trump said. "He votes against everything."

This is Trump's fourth trip to West Virginia as president.

"It's wonderful to be back in West Virginia. It was a very special place during the election for me. It was not even close, was it?" Trump said.
