DNC: "Government is the Only Thing We All Belong To"

Paging central control......The DNC Convention in Charlotte is officially underway. How did the DNC kick things off? By showing a video promoting government as "something we all belong to."

Based on "We the People" written in the U.S. Constitution, we do not "all belong to the government," the government belongs to us.

We the People  of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

Reality check: The United States government is paid for by the people and the politicians who serve in the United States government are elected by the people.
