People trust different websites, most have favorite sources on the web. When sites, all reliable/legit are reporting about an issue one way and others a different way you are going to have different opinions on that issue and you should expect that.

By your logic Bush was responsible for 9/11 after being in office 8 months. Also, Bush is responsible for the Gulf oil spill even though he has been out of office for 16 months before this accident happened. Bush also approved of BP's well design even though he was out of office for over a year. Bush approved of 3 well design changes in 24 hours weeks before the well blew up. In February of 2010 MMS was notified that there were problems with the well and they did nothing. This is still Bush's fault even though candidate Obama said there was corruption at MMS and would immediately clean up the mess.
