Cretin can't stop squealing; he's hysterical! Hahaah!
Settle down, Axehole. I can answer the feeble points you spout here in your last tries.
They mean nothing; since again you resort to bald-faced lies. You keep trying but never tell the truth! It's obvious you lost heart now, as I've got you hanged by the balls.

Huh? The inquisition was about torturing people who didn't accept Catholicism into accepting it. Half the people here would have been tortured by it, Protestant, Jew, Atheist and Mormon alike. And sometimes they tortured scientists like Galileo and Bruno for merely stating scientific facts.
In short, it was the DOGMA of the Church to torture non-believers. And the Pope admitted that it was wrong for the Church to do so. (500 years to late, but so be it.)

P.S., I've done a helluva job "defending" the Inquisition against you-- admittedly not a tough opponent. Left you so flat-footed you squat to phss. There's always been that trouble about Catholics: Most won't even investigate. They accept all the BS about it and permit the Church to surrender to the lies.
Here I am--alone. Speaking truth to the brood of vipers. It's a lonely job but somebody has to do it. THANK YOU, JESUS, for giving me the grace! Amen!
Me- yeah, well, if you want to defend stuff your own Pope won't defend anymore, have at it.
The inquisitions killed hundreds of thousands of innocent people. There was simply no excuse for them. It's exactly why the end of religion will be a boon for humanity, and...

You are correct and need no help from me. Let's both admit, many troubling things were taken for granted; in an era during which traumatic suffering was not uncommon.
The very fact that a saintly virgin, Joan of Arc; could be persecuted by a bribed panel of inquisitors (France) and Cervantes spent time in jails, Theresa of Avila was suspected of heresy-- That tells us we must be humble and not too confrontational in these arguments.
However; attacks by an idiot apostate like Axe-hole; who only spouts pure hatred, without any other beneficial aim; --We can't tolerate. WE JUST DON'T. Cretino will rot in hell before we should allow him to impugn God.

He can't debate himself out of that wet paper bag. So, he resorts to cheap shots at the Pope. Cretino is THAT weak!
". . . you just tried to defend one of the greatest crimes against humanity in history."
It wasn't-- You have merely one daffy opinion, that's all.
". . . your OWN INFALLIBLE POPE called "a tormented phase in the history of the Church,"
What's a PHASE, please?
What's "tormented," Putz?
What's HISTORY? --Would you ponder these words? Come back in 25 years to help us analyze their meanings. (With luck I'm going to die before you return.)

Guy, you just tried to defend one of the greatest crimes against humanity in history. one your OWN INFALLIBLE POPE called "tormented phase in the history of the Church,"
So come on, this old pedo is supposed to be infallible, the voice of the almighty sky pixie through his son/self, the Cosmic Jewish Zombie. So is he wrong when he says the Inquisition was "tormented" or not?
You just can't have it both ways.
Either-
The Inquisition was a tormented phase,
or
The Pope is no more infalliable than the rest of us...
Get back to me when you untwist THAT pretzel.

Who's making excuses, Animal?
Yes; a minion of Satan would become a fireworks display. Do you object? Now, "the latter," can be exonerated. That's why they called them inquisitors; they inquired and got to the bottom of things.
Many hundreds more were judged innocent and released; even indemnified for damages -- than "burnt." (FY stupid I).

Why would Cretino Eugineu quote the Pope???
"According to Pope John Paul II, “The Inquisition belongs to a tormented phase in the history of the Church, which. . . Christians examine in a spirit of sincerity and open-mindedness.”"
That's what Ive been doing, Azzxe Guy. I bought a copy of Henry Kamen's "The Spanish Inquisition."
Kamen is a renowned English historian. Englishmen aren't apt to give Catholics much benefit of the doubt. So his book is unsparing of our Church. He looks at those events long past with honest and unbiased scholarship. Read it and judge.
Of course you aren't remotely a Christian, you're the devil's advocate. Wouldn't trust you to be open-minded or sincere, as...

Doubtless witches "traffic," in some unclean way with Satan. Having only known you briefly, I can't accurately say whether or not YOU are a fiend like Rosemary's Baby of movie lore. But your Mamma may have trafficked with the Beast. (I only hope not.)

When we consider how even Catholic saints like Theresa of Avila and Saint John of the Cross took their lumps from that august jury, you can't pretend the Inquisition existed just to torture Jews or hang innocent people. Because it would be FALSE.
Nobody knew that better than our late...

Me- Oh, come on. The CHurch doesn't "excommunicate" women who have abortions for a reason. Because they KNOW they'd lose about half their membership if they did. Oh, just say a "hail mary" and everything will be fine, really.
So I ask again, if Abortion is SUCH a sin, why doesn't the pope say, every Catholic woman who has had one (and you all know who you are) is now excommunicated? Because he knows he can't push the issue that far.
Okay, come on, are there witches who really have power by having sex with Satan or not? This is what your church claimed (at least until it had to enter the 19th century, anyway)....

Soon, a battle king will manifest himself in Europe and destroy the Turks.
There is nothing you can do to stop him. Angels will fight with him. He's the Great Monarch, the reuniter of Christendom.
Once the Turks are crushed, he'll deal with the pagans, witchcraft and other abominations.
But don't worry, your country doesn't even count in prophecy. You have no role to play.
Then the masonic republics will be but dust and hierarcy and order reestablish in all things in the world.

"Start a Crusade? I would if I could; we need one. Sure, the Crusades went wrong. Like all affairs of men they were flawed and too ambitious."
Me- No, the problem wasn't that they "went wrong", it was that they were wrong from the very moment Pope Urban II thought them up. The "Holy Land" had been in Islamic hands for 400 years at that point and honestly, most of Christian Europe just didn't care.
Then this retard decides that they need to respond to a request for help from the Byzantine Emperor as an excuse to retake the Holy Land, which didn't really want to be retaken. 200 years later, the last crusaders were chased out of the Holy Land, but not before thousands were slaughtered, including Christians and Jews as well...

DN- No-- the Holy Word of _GOD_ says witches are real. (Even today, people have known them.) God really IS infallible.
Me- No, seriously, this is your story? There REAAAAALLLY were witches, and they had it coming, really. At least when Catholics were killing them.
DN- "The English hanged many falsely accused old crones; a tragic fact. Most English Christians were heretically formed, by & large; and prone to MANY errors. Then English protestants crossed to this side, where they again did those things in --Surprise! Massachusetts!"
Me- Wow, you are TOTALLY missing the point. What made Salem so abhorent is that it happened WHEN PEOPLE SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER. Not that it was a big crime, because it was only a handful...

WRONG. You swallowed a lie.
Me- So all those historians who recorded the fact that the Vatican reached treaties with Mussolini and Hitler, and was silent as they killed millions of Catholics were wrong? Really?
Point of fact. Pius XII could have gotten up in St. Peter's Basillica and publically condemned the Axis and order all good Catholic German and Italian soldiers to lay down their arms. He'd have been dead an hour later, but he'd have done the right thing. And God would have welcomed him into his bosom, right? He didn't. He chose to survive, and millions died.
That's why your church is contemptable.
And it never learns. It still cozies up to every nasty dictator in the world,so long as they get to...
