They let the VA hospitals run down, the public found out, then they had to fix them because they were caught with their pants down. We got these sicko's like Cheney, Rove, Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck and etc. waving the flag when none served in the military and some were out right draft doggers. The Dems already control congress by a hefty margin and nothing between now and 2010 is going to change that. Owens won't make any difference in what happens in this nation until then.

Maybe losing this race will encourage Republicans in the district to get their act together next time. They could at least split the difference between Scozzy and Hoffman when they select the next candidate.

Shouldn't be too hard to get rid of a one year incumbent who won an historically Republican favoring district with around 30% of the vote in a year where there is likely to be a strong backlash against his party.
