RNC Chairman Reince Priebus will be Donald Trump’s chief of staff.

Despite several names being floated around, it has been revealed that Trump has settled on Priebus for the role. It will be a pivotal position as Priebus will have several hundred White House staff members working directly under him and his work will be crucial for setting the administration's agenda.

Trump campaign CEO Steve Bannon (who was also considered) will serve as chief strategist and senior counselor to the White House. The announcement stated the two men will work "as equal partners to transform the federal government."

The two hires by Trump are smart and descriptive of what his administration will look like. The RNC chairman is considered to have managed the Party very successfully over the years. Despite running the RNC, an organization which Trump at times said was against him, Reince always stayed neutral, and remained loyal after Trump's nomination. His hire assures the Trump administration will be well-run. At the same time, Bannon's role in the White House is a message to D.C. that Trump will remain what he promised to be: the ultimate anti-establishment president.
