Obama Not in Kentucky to View Ice Storm

Remember all the talk about "Why didn't President Bush go to New Orleans?" after Katrina...where is that same talk about why Barack Obama is missing in action from the ice storm in Kentucky? His first major disaster (well outside of picking people for cabinet posts who cannot pay their taxes) as President has been a disaster.

"We haven't seen FEMA. They haven't been here," Jaime Green, a spokeswoman for the emergency operations center in Lyon County (about 95 miles northwest of Nashville) told the AP.

Bush was uncaring, didn't get it, out of touch, etc, right? Can you imagine President Bush going to a black tie dinner while millions of people were suffering because of an Ice Storm -- what the backlash would be? Imagine Bush roasting the White House by running up the thermostat while people have no heat in Kentucky, or Tennessee, or Arkansas?  The lies the left spread, including saying President Bush was "golfing" during Katrina, were horrible and down right disgusting. Kanye West said "The way America is set up to help the poor, the black people, the less well-off as slow as possible, they've given them permission to go down and shoot us. George Bush doesn't care about black people." There is an obvious question that should be asked of Kanye West now, isn't there?

The question here is where is the media? While people are without electricity to fix any kind of a meal, Barack Obama hosts a cocktail party at the White House with steak costing over $100 a pound and vodka martini's while people in America's heartland are eating vienna sausages out of a can.

Question; we can now say Obama is uncaring, didn't get it, out of touch, etc, right? Hey Kanye, where are you at my friend? David Gregory, looking for those tough questions on why the President is out of touch with ordinary Americans, why hasn't he visitied the disaster area?
