suggested here that concerns about abortionists' legal liability might have driven some of Barack's opposition to the Ilinois version of the Born Alive Infant Protection Act. Today,
Andy McCarthy draws the same conclusion.
It's just hard to understand any human being who could countenance the possibility that a living baby could be left to struggle and die in a hospital utility room. As
this story highlights, even dogs understand that newborn babies are supposed to be protected, not left to die.
