Giuliani Surmises Why Orlando Terrorist's Father Attended Hillary Rally

Former New York City Mayor and current Donald Trump surrogate Rudy Giuliani believes he knows the reason why Orlando terrorist Omar Mateen's father Seddique proudly attended Hillary Clinton’s rally over the weekend. His haunting presence became the story on Monday as pundits wondered whether Clinton would disavow the elder Mateen’s support. She eventually did

Yet, the question still remains as to what drew Mateen to the Democrat in the first place. On Fox News on Tuesday, Giuliani said Mateen clearly gravitates toward Clinton because she has not exactly been a leading voice in the fight against terrorism.

"What attracts this man to Hillary Clinton?” Giuliani asked. “I know what attracts him to her. It’s her soft position on Islamic extremist terrorism.”

Just like President Obama, Clinton only mentions Islamic extremism when she’s pressured by her opponents, Giuliani explained.

Seddique Mateen may have been saddened his son's action's in Orlando, but the father has previously expressed anti-American sentiments and has even been sympathetic to the Taliban. GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump argued that had Mateen shown up at one of his rallies, the Republican would be demonized by the media.
