Hi, a Buffalo Bills fan here. Like any fan I am disappointed by the Bills' start to the 2018 season. Not just that we're 0-2, but that we've given up 78 points in the first two games.
That may not be the worst offense though. In the middle of Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Chargers, cornerback Vontae Davis player quit. Not just the game. He quit football.
The Bills were trailing 28-6 at halftime, when Davis headed for the locker room and never returned to the field. He posted the following statement after the game, explaining that his body will no longer allow him to play professional football.

His teammates were not exactly understanding.
Linebacker Lorenzo Alexander called it "completely disrespectful." Davis, he said, didn't tell anybody about his plans to quit. It was a shock to the whole team.
During an interview on CNN, former NFL player Ephraim Salaam said he gets that Davis wants to protect his health, but he too said the way he bowed out was disrespectful.
"It's one of the most selfish things you can do," he said. "The other guys are counting on you."
Salaam said one lesson he taught his kids, is "if you start something, you can't quit in the middle of it." Davis, he added, should have at least waited an hour and a half for the game to finish, before he hung up his football helmet.
Bills coach Sean McDermott told reporters that they are going to try and put it behind them as they look toward the rest of the season.
“Vontae’s actions spoke loud and clear," McDermott said. "It’s not going to be a distraction for us because we’re focused on improving and moving forward as a football team.”
Let's hope. Because the Bills don't need any more distractions!
