Years from now historians will look back with disgust at a national mainstream media who never bothered to investigate the biggest scandal in U.S. political history. The story of their failure to investigate is perhaps more shocking and scandalous than the scandal itself.

How far behind can America be? Our media says we are in a “recovery” incessantly. We are told that because the stock market is rising, because housing is enjoying a few signs of life (at bankruptcy prices), and because cars are selling better than the terrible rate they sold at last year, that the U.S. economy is doing well.

It’s breathtaking how we are being lied to about unemployment specifically, and the economy in general. Just Friday we learned unemployment is down to 7.7% with the miraculous addition of over 200,000 jobs. The media was instantly celebrating great news. But is it actually great news?

Our fearless leader Obama is just back from a “Swing State”…you know, the kind of place where you work on your golf swing. He was consulting on the economy with Tiger Woods and Butch Harmon. While Michelle was playing in Aspen. You wouldn’t accept this storyline if it was a fictional movie script. Too unrealistic.

Today is Obama’s second swearing in, and despite what the Obama-adoring, Kool-Aid- drinking liberal mainstream media tells you, this is a day for sadness, not celebration. It's time to mourn for what Obama is doing to America....and even worse, for what he has planned for the next four years.

I’m not your typical NRA member. I’m Jewish, Ivy League educated (Columbia University, Class of ’83, President Obama’s classmate), and have been a member of the mainstream media (I started my career as an anchorman and host for CNBC, then called Financial News Network). Also unusual, I joined the NRA in the days after the Sandy Hook, Connecticut tragedy.

Why do liberal politicians and the biased liberal mainstream media (meaning pretty much all media in America but FNC) always come to the wrong conclusion, and usually come up with the wrong solution, in response to every crisis?

I’m a small businessman who believes we are all over-taxed. I would not raise anyone’s taxes. But since Obama’s pet billionaires like Warren Buffett are so quick to sell out the upper middle class…two can play at that game! Obama has the GOP Congress between a rock and a hard place. Here's a compromise that turns the tables on Obama. I say it’s time to sacrifice the billionaires to save small business...and the GOP.

Can the GOP really be this stupid? It appears many in the GOP Congress are suddenly willing to raise taxes. What utter fools. As Forest Gump's mother (played by Sally Field) said, "Stupid is, as stupid does." And this is world-class stupid. If GOP politicians can't figure out any good arguments to oppose tax increases, I’ll give them a few.

It’s too late to play nice, to not tell the raw, unvarnished truth. If we don’t tell the truth (and fast), we are going to lose America, capitalism, and our children’s future.

The Presidential debates were Exhibit A for Obama's habit of "misplacing the truth" (ie lying). Obama told lots of hard-to-believe whoppers about his support of guns; his love of the oil, gas and coal industries; his unshakeable loyalty to Israel; and of course his response to the Libya Embassy attack. Boy can this guy misplace facts.

On May 30th, I made a prediction that shocked the readers of TownHall. I predicted a Romney landslide- with Obama leading in every poll.

If Obama is re-elected on November 6th, you haven’t seen anything yet. Because the first Obama term was just a small taste of things to come. Without ever having to answer to voters again, he will be free to be his REAL radical self.

Few Americans understood the significance of President Obama’s most important line in his Presidential re-election speech at last week’s Democratic National Convention. Obama promised he'd pursue "the kind of bold, persistent experimentation that Franklin Roosevelt (FDR) pursued during the only crisis worse than this one." The implications of that promise are truly frightening. As history has already proven - they will lead to economic disaster.

Since Obama can’t run on his dismal failures with jobs and the economy; his devastating $5 trillion in new debt creation; his radical energy plans that have resulted in a hidden tax of thousands of dollars on the poor and middle class in higher gas and utility bills; or his pathetic foreign policy that has diminished America in the eyes of the world and made the Middle East a far more dangerous place; he and his socialist cabal (aka Democratic Party) have enacted a strategy to defeat and demonize fiscal conservatives (aka “sane people”) by distracting voters and instilling fear.

If there’s one man in America born for the job of debunking Obama’s myths and lies, it’s Paul Ryan.

Don’t Americans constantly complain because politicians lie? Barack Obama lies so much, his nose should be longer than Pinnochio. He says “the private sector is doing fine.” He says to business owners, “You didn’t build that.” He tells the middle class that “none of the tax increases are aimed at you.”

Not only do my ex’s live in Texas, but your ex’s, and pretty much everyone else’s ex’s as well. All of America is moving to Texas.

If Presidential politics is a chess game, then it’s time to checkmate Obama. And the perfect place to do that is in Orlando at the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials conference.

Government employee unions are a real threat to national security, far worse than the unproven fraud called global warming. Government employee pensions threaten our children’s future. They will destroy the American Dream and wipe away our quality of life. America is doomed to follow Europe off the cliff, if we don’t dramatically reform public pensions…today.
