Oregon Secretary of State predicts 72 percent turnout

Oregon Secretary of State Kate Brown on Thursday predicted a 72 percent turnout for Tuesday's election, which would make it the highest-turnout general election in a non-presidential year since 1990.

Brown said in a press release that the intense governor's race and several local levies are increasing voter interest in the election.
