Democrats Demand Trump Do Something While Biden Putters Around

What is Joe Biden doing right now? Your mind wanders at the question – is he napping, talking to a house plant, skinny-dipping (he was known for it as VP), lost somewhere in the White House? What does not occur to you as a possibility is that he is diligently doing the job of President of the United States of America. He’s more likely to be sitting on the beach in Rehoboth unaware that it’s cold than doing that.

California is burning up, Americans are still being held hostage in the Middle East by people he and his government openly support with “humanitarian” aid, which is just liberal code for making sure terrorists don’t have to divert any of their weapons money to feeding people who might otherwise rise up and overthrow them if things got too bad domestically, and Democrats are whining about statements the president-elect is making.

I’m old enough to remember when Democrats would scream “WE ONLY HAVE ONE PRESIDENT AT A TIME” during a transition from blue to red when the incoming administration would be asked to comment on some current event. Now they demand the guy without any power is chastised for NOT solving a problem he has no ability to solve outside of the office.

It’s weird, by which I mean hypocritical, that the very people who insisted not that long ago as their guy was shipping billions to Ukraine and commuting the death sentence of almost everyone on federal death row (because, like all “deeply held principles,” opposition to the death penalty has exceptions for when opposing it would upset your radical base) before the clock ran out on his power that he was “President up till the last moment,” now want to blame someone else for a lack of leadership.

After President-elect Trump correctly pointed out that most of California’s problems are a direct result of electing incompetent Democrats for decades – writing on Truth Social, “Governor Gavin Newscum refused to sign the water restoration declaration put before him that would have allowed millions of gallons of water, from excess rain and snow melt from the North, to flow daily into many parts of California, including the areas that are currently burning in a virtually apocalyptic way. He wanted to protect an essentially worthless fish called a smelt, by giving it less water (it didn't work!), but didn't care about the people of California. Now the ultimate price is being paid. I will demand that this incompetent governor allow beautiful, clean, fresh water to FLOW INTO CALIFORNIA! He is the blame for this. On top of it all, no water for fire hydrants, not firefighting planes. A true disaster!” – one of the Obama Pod-bros (Is that considered mis-gendering?) whined that, “Everyone in LA is terrified right now and trying to figure out what to do, where to go, and how to keep their kids safe from fire and smoke. Our president-elect's response is to launch another stupid political attack and pretend that the governor can stop the Santa Ana Winds.

Again, a little odd from a party that thinks they can control the weather by preventing driving.

I can assure you that not one blade of grass was burned by that Trump post, but almost all of them were burned because of the things Trump pointed out in that post. They are on the Pacific Ocean, after all. How is it that with access to that much water there hasn’t been a plan implemented over the last 40 years to desalinate and feed that water to hydrants and strategic locations for this very purpose? Instead, we get stories about how their hydrants are dry because they’re out of water.

If you’re not going to allow any fire prevention measures, as California does not, then you’d think they’d at least be on the ball with fire suppression measures. You’d be wrong. Democrats block anything to mitigate the inevitable while making ending it as difficult as possible. You’d almost have to think they want these disasters to happen so they can ascribe blame for them to climate change.

But none of that, nor anything else, makes up for bad leadership from the White House. Or, more accurately, no leadership.

When I was younger, all the way back in high school, I had a friend who absolutely loved Pink Floyd. They were way past their prime and Roger Waters had left the band ages before then, but like I love The Beatles now even though they weren’t together in my lifetime, people like the music they like. I found them to be fine, but my friend absolutely loved them. He even loved the weird records with Syd Barrett, who allegedly went crazy thanks to drug use.

When asked about their former frontman, allegedly, band members would say he’s “puttering” around – wandering, aimless and just lost. That's what Joe Biden is doing these days, or at least it seems like it. As is evident with those early Floyd records, the country, too, will be better off without Biden. The problem is we still have a week and a half with him, and even a puttering fool can do a lot of damage in that time.
