NASHVILLE, Tenn. (BP)--Baptist Press will launch a monthly column Jan. 5 by Bill Fay, the man whose book "Share Jesus Without Fear" has led to thousands of Christians becoming soul-winners.

Fay travels regularly giving Share Jesus Without Fear seminars at churches and other gatherings. It is estimated he has shared his faith with more than 15,000 since he accepted Christ 28 years ago. Fay's personal testimony is unique, to say the least: Prior to his conversion he was head of a multi-million dollar cooperation, and at one point he even owned a brothel.

"There is a simple fact that I have known since I have become a Christian --- nothing from this world will ultimately satisfy you, whether you're a sports celebrity, whether you make a million dollars, chase women, do drugs," Fay told Baptist Press. "You will get a rush of happiness for a while, but it only lasts for a period of time. And then you go empty again. Inner peace is being OK regardless of the circumstances in our life. And that only comes with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

"Everyone that I look at that is unsaved, no matter what their persona is -- the three-piece suit businessman with a gold Rolex and a $50 million income or the so-called perfect woman -- they may not know it yet, but they are empty until Jesus Christ comes in their life."

Fay said he hopes his columns will drive other Christians to share their faith, too.

"People say to me all the time, 'I tried witnessing once, and failed,' and my response is always the same -- 'Is that the only time you've been obedient to share the Gospel?' Because this is the one area of our Christian life you cannot fail in. If you share your faith stupidly, tactlessly and with poor timing, God will use it. What He won't use is your silence."
