How I'm Praying for the President

We could go on (we haven’t even touched on Obama’s plans to destroy the institution of marriage and the family through his legitimizing homosexual practice, the lobbyists he has appointed to his administration after promising not to do so, the corruption of some of his cabinet members who knowingly evaded paying their taxes, and on and on).

Based on the policy positions alone, there is solid evidence that Barack Obama has made himself an enemy of God and the enemy of God’s people. God enjoins us to pray for our enemies, therefore we should pray for Barack Obama—but not that his plans succeed, but rather that they fail.

There is scriptural precedent for praying that the ungodly plans of God’s appointed leader fail. David repeatedly prayed that King Saul’s plans against him would fail. 

Because President Obama has so clearly revealed an agenda that de-values the cause of life and has provided abundant evidence that his policies do not serve the cause of righteousness, I am encouraging all God-fearing followers of Jesus Christ to begin praying that God in his sovereign grace would hinder him and the agenda he has sought to advance with such breathtaking speed.

Poor Ivan
Started the debate, made all sorts of personal attacks on many of his posts, Ivan now finds himself discredited, humiliated, and his post content laughable.

And he slinks off, tail between legs, pouting.

For Ivan:

Atheist can’t see any evidence of God.
Evidence of God is presented.
All evidence of God is immediately rejected.
Atheist can’t see any evidence of God.

And the next line for Ivan:

Atheist slinks off.

Gee, I never knew
Owning a far left atheist like Ivan could be so easy or so much fun. The boy is like some beta program, designed by Bill Ayers for an old Commodore, and so out of date and obsolete no one will buy it.

Here is an Ivanism, well articulated by another poster David S on another thread:

"We say that the Transcendent and Supreme is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God Who became incarnate in Jesus Christ. He and no one else.

You say that you yourself are the transcendent and supreme. You certainly say this, because you have already decided that there is no God. Thus, in order to know this, you have to be, in fact, yourself God.

But I simply see no valid reason to dethrone Him and enthrone you".

So Ivan where are all of those facts and evidence you say disproves Christianity, God, etc. ??? Still waiting Ivan.

Where are they Ivan? You have been challenged Ivan, c'mon little fella, spew them out for us!

Or are you afraid of being publicly humiliated again?
