Poll
Will Congress pass Obamacare by the end of the year?

It had to be one of the single dumbest questions ever asked in the history of network television.

Diane Sawyer was chatting up James Carville, the irascible Clinton loyalist, about the West Virginia Democrat primary. She turned to Mr. Carville and, with a glint in her eye, asked something that almost caused him to fall flat out of his cushy 'Good Morning America' chair. At least I know I certainly would have keeled over had I been asked the same thing.

Referring to the much-reported exit polling in West Virginia that suggested that one out of five Clinton voters said that race was definitely a factor in their decision, Ms. Sawyer, who makes approximately 12 million dollars a year to ask questions on ABC-TV, said the following: "...should Sen. Clinton say she is rejecting the votes of anyone who votes based in any way on color of skin?"

I swear to you that Carville looked at her as if she had just suggested that a tiny alien creature was living in her left high-heeled shoe.

I'm glad that in the middle of his rambling, stumbling answer to possibly the goofiest question he's ever received, he managed to sheepishly point out that there were "probably a few black voters who have voted for Sen. Obama because of race as well."

A "few"? A FEW???

Surely Carville has seen the same data we all have regarding the racial component of Democrats who have cast votes for Obama and Sen. Clinton. And a die-hard liberal Dem like James Carville isn't about to admit on national TV what has turned into the not-so-secret secret of this Democrat primary season: black Democrats are overwhelmingly voting for the black candidate.

The story has been revealed state after state: 92% of the black vote in Mississippi for Obama; 91% of the black vote in Wisconsin for him; 84% of blacks went for Obama in Maryland; 87% in Ohio; and on and on.

Meanwhile, Mrs. Clinton captured 55% of the white vote in Texas; 64% of white voters in Ohio; and 66% in New Jersey, just to name a few. So while Sen. Clinton has garnered a fairly even percentage of white and black voters, blacks are simply voting in overwhelming percentages for Sen. Obama.

In a contest between two Democrat candidates with nearly indistinguishable policies, this is astoundingly alarming. Continued...

Bill Clinton got 90% of Black vote -
FYI Bill Clinton got 90% of black vote and Jesse Jackson got nowhere near those numbers. Black people have voted for whites for years. It's a big difference when white people will NOT vote for a candidate based on his race. Clearly, blacks have - for some strange reason - been a major support base for Democrats and last I checked, there has never been a black president in the past. Truth is, most blacks are smarter than people think. They know the Clinton's didn't do much for them while in office.

Histroy shows blacks will vote for whites, period!

Patriot and the Black Vote
Another reason I am skeptical about your racial designation is your response to tubbs on blacks voting for Obama.

Most black folks know that originally, the black vote was Hillary's to lose. Hardly anyone outside of the Chicago area code had heard of Obama and felt that he was just another Alan Keyes (albeit democrat)trying to run for president. Hillary was well known and Bill, of course, was highly respected in the black community. A vote for Hillary meant a vote for Bill back in the white house as well. A twofer, you might say.

Then Hillary's campaign people got antsy once Obama began making his move. They thought the nomination would be wrapped up in February but it wasn't. They changed the tactics from concentrating on issues to mudslinging. Also, the right began pounding Obama simultaneously with Rev Wright, Ayers, Mickey Mouse, and anybody else they could think of. Not the issues, though. Most black folks then started to gravitate toward Obama and really begin to listen to what he had to say. If you are really black, you would know this. You would know that when Jesse J ran, blacks did not vote for him in mass because of a fear of dilluting the vote so much the repubs would win. You would know that Alan Keyes received enough black votes to only fill a 7-11 coffee cup. Are you sure you are a brother because your thoughts are very much like some of my TH friends (white)that post here frequently.
