Will the Dems' health care Christmas Present to America be an improvement or detriment to our health care system?

Mayor David Miller told me, "In the judgment of our police officers that night, they violated one portion or more of [the city's] ordinance."

What were the police protecting willing adult customers from?

"From these types of activities spilling over into their neighborhood."

Within a week of the Chippendales arrest, three murders occurred in Lubbock. Wouldn't those police officers have been better used elsewhere?

Some states have laws that creep right into the bedroom. In Alabama, legislators banned the sale of sex toys. That upset Dave Smith, whose wife owns Pleasures, "Your One Stop Romance Shop."

"In the state of Alabama I can buy a gun. I can carry it in my pocket. ... But if I buy this [sex toy], someone could get arrested!" Smith said.

The ACLU helped challenge the law. But an appeals court ruled that the politicians have a "legitimate legislative interest in discouraging prurient interests in autonomous sex" -- in other words, masturbation -- because that may be "detrimental to the health and morality of the State."

Oddly, Pleasures is still in business because the law makes an exception if a sex toy is sold for a medical purpose. To buy a vibrator, customers need only answer yes to a questionnaire asking things like, "Have difficulty having an orgasm?"

I asked the Family Research Council's Sprigg whom the government protects when it closes down sex shops.

"The government is protecting actually the people who patronize those shops because I don't think it's in their interest to use pornography and sex toys."

Give me a break.

WAR ON SEX?
If there's a war on sex then they need to start with the legal system and start arresting all those who allegedly abuse their wives and children, watch porno on their computers; think immoral thoughts; sexually harass female inmates; flirt with women stopped for tickets; sexually harass verbally or physically female clients of attorneys; provide counseling for judges who make sexual comments to female litigants and staff; and discipline the men and women in the legal system who flirt or date or say, "You look nice, today!" Ironically, the legal system didn't do much to prominent people who opened the door to sexual immoral acts during the 80s and 90s, but are now declaring war on the average citizen who may be innocent, but entrapped. It's at the point where smiling at someone is frightening should that person call the police and complain that they've been sexually harassed - It appears that they want to arrest everyone for everything - because they haven't bothered to shut down the porno on TV, radio, or internet. Watch out soap opera stars - they might come after you, too! Hypocritcally, they promote schools books about sex to young children in schools, pass out condoms, and provide abortions for children. Good grief, the American dream is on the verge of the American nightmare!

Thought it was bad before.......
Gov. Ritter (CO) and the state legislature just passed a bill, SB200. It is now legal and expected, for men to use womens' restrooms and vice versa.
SB 200: The Bathroom Bill: Colorado recently enacted SB 200, a law that opens "public accommodations" - including public restrooms - to members of the opposite sex. In the name of protecting trans-gendered individuals from discrimination, Colorado has paved the way for sexual predators to take advantage of the confusion caused by this law - and endanger women and children. Do you want YOUR children sharing a bathroom with the opposite gender?

HOW ARE COPS GOING TO PROTECT CHILDREN NOW? Talk about opportunities for child porn? I have 3 young daughters. Can I send them to the bathroom alone now?
The real kicker is some guy, TIM GILL,Denver, CO, FINANCED the state legislatures AND legislation! Do a Google search on him, TIM GILL. He pours money into elections in SEVERAL states to influence his agenda. Iowa, Vermont, Wyoming, etc. The residents in Colorado NEVER HAD a CHANCE to vote on this issue. The Governor, state legislature, and Tim Gill didn't care about the good of the people! It was shoved down our throats! (and my daughters, of course)
