Macy's to Open Thanksgiving Day, Breaks 155 Years of Tradition
The Macy's department store has never opened on Thanksgiving since its founding by Rowland H. Macy in New York City in 1858. This year, the store will open its doors at 8:00 p.m. instead of midnight.
