Change: Salem Communications takes over Air America station

During the 2008 election, liberal-talk station WWRC-AM in Washington, DC was named 'Obama1260am'.  Non-stop Air America liberal talk failed miserably and they spiked the idea just two weeks after Obama's inauguration.

It was announced today that Salem Communications will be acquiring WWRC-AM on May 15th.  Programming will feature names that Townhall readers will be very familiar from the Salem Radio Network.

Finally, the Townhall DC office can listen to Salem talk radio on their drive to and from the office.
