Despite the media's and blue checked marked liberals' insistence that Baltimore is simply a lovely place to live, the numbers show a different story. Charm City, as it is affectionately called, has a higher murder rate than some of the worst countries in South America.
The focus is on Baltimore, as Matt reported, because "President Donald Trump decided to take a swing at Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD), whose district swings into parts of the city. Baltimore has a crime problem, it’s corrupt, and it’s rat-infested." Despite the evident crime, however, Democrats have declared the criticism was simply nothing but racist statements from the president and not founded in reality.
But, The Washington Examiner's Paul Bedard reports that Princeton Policy Advisor has a new study indicating that the murder rate in El Salvador was 50, in Guatemala it was 22 and Honduras was 38 per 100,00.
For Baltimore, it was reported at 56.

Indeed, Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar cast her outrage at President Donald Trump signed an agreement on Friday with Guatemala which declared any U.S. asylum seeker who enters the country must apply for asylum within Guatemala, and not at the U.S. border.
"Guatemala is NOT a safe third country for migrants from El Salvador and Honduras," she cried. "It is not even a safe country for many Guatemalans."

This agreement violates human rights and international law.https://t.co/kkrOClzF8P
If that is the case, then how would Rep. Omar describe Baltimore?
