Some Drunk Moron Yelled 'Heil Hitler, Heil Trump' to Protest the President During a Play? What?

Welcome to Bizarroland, ruled by liberal stupidity and defended by abject lunatics. In Baltimore, a man has apologized for standing up during a local production of "Fiddler on the Roof" and yelling "Heil Hitler, Heil Trump" while making the Nazi salute. No, this wasn't a rabid anti-semitic hateful weirdo, but a liberal who was attempting to display his disgust with the current commander-in-chief.

WBAL 11 TV reports, Tony Delurnas sincerely regrets his decision to shout these statements earlier this week, claiming that he was caught up in the moment during the play.

"I just want everybody to know I am sincerely sorry. I opened my mouth and it was so wrong, and I know that now. In the moment, it was just my frustration. I don't know what I was thinking. I am so ashamed. My heart goes out to all those that I ruined their night, to everybody that was affected by my stupidity," Delurnas said.

"I'm so embarrassed and ashamed and disgusted with myself. I didn't think at the time about my frustrations with President Trump and I was trying to compare Trump to Hitler because he plays into the fears of people and it just came out wrong," the 58-year-old continued.

According to previous police reports, the man was escorted out of the theater and some patrons called 911. Delurnas told police that, "The final scene before intermission reminded him of his hatred for (President) Donald Trump, which caused him to stand up and yell 'Heil Hitler, Heil Trump.'"

"Fiddler on the Roof" tells the fictional story of a Jewish family persecuted by the Russian government. Piror to his apology, the Baltimore Jewish Council condemned Delurnas actions, saying.  "It's not acceptable to have hate against the Jewish community. It's not acceptable to have hate against any other community. We're going to continue to partner with our other faith communities and other communities across Baltimore to stand up against hate. "'Fiddler on the Roof' has a very heavy Jewish crowd of people in attendance, some survivors of the Holocaust and their children. I'm sure you hear that and it brings up such powerful painful feelings."

Delurnas partially blamed his actions on alcohol consumption and cried during his apology.
