Hillary Clinton was seen in another bizarre video in the ongoing oddity that is the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee’s post election life. Late Friday night, a video on Twitter from Clinton with a message for her fans that she affectionately calls “b*tches" began making the rounds.
“Hey everyone, I just wanted to say thanks,” Clinton said in a video that was tweeted by Huffington Post writer, Alex Mohajer. “Thanks for your feminism, for your activism, and all I can hope is you keep up the really important, good work.”
After being prompted by somebody in the background, Clinton then looks at the camera and says, "And let me just say, this is directed to the activist bitches supporting bitches. So let’s go.”

As noted by The Washington Examiner, the timing of this video seems misplaced. The former Secretary of State and two time failed presidential candidate had just responded on Twitter to accusations that she mishandled sexual misconduct on the 2008 campaign trail. Matt reported yesterday that "she decided to keep a sexual harasser, and senior aide, on her staff during her first presidential run in 2008."
The New York Times initially broke that story, saying, "A senior adviser to Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign who was accused of repeatedly sexually harassing a young subordinate was kept on the campaign at Mrs. Clinton’s request, according to four people familiar with what took place. Mrs. Clinton’s campaign manager at the time recommended that she fire the adviser, Burns Strider. But Mrs. Clinton did not. Instead, Mr. Strider was docked several weeks of pay and ordered to undergo counseling, and the young woman was moved to a new job."

Clinton addressed that accusal on Twitter in a rather haphazard manner. She said the young woman's concerns were "taken seriously and addressed," but that does not explain why Mr. Strider was not given further punishment.
A story appeared today about something that happened in 2008. I was dismayed when it occurred, but was heartened the young woman came forward, was heard, and had her concerns taken seriously and addressed.

The "b*tches" video from Clinton may serve as another example for many across the country of Clinton's awkwardness and lack of personal touch with voters. Not since Michael Scott in The Office (Season 5, Episode 21), has the term "b*tch" been so misplaced and quite frankly weird. After losing the 2016 election in dismal fashion to Donald J. Trump, it is still not clear what plans Clinton has for her future. Maybe she should just go back to "just chilling in Cedar Rapids."I called her today to tell her how proud I am of her and to make sure she knows what all women should: we deserve to be heard.
