Former President Donald Trump countered President Joe Biden’s stance on Israel defending itself from terrorist-backed attacks, calling it the “craziest thing I’ve ever heard.”

Biden rejected Israel’s defense mechanism and said the Jewish state shouldn’t escalate the war and basically sit back and let terrorist groups attack it.

During a campaign event in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Biden was asked about Iran attacking Israel. The 81-year-old president responded, saying, “As long as they don’t hit the nuclear stuff.’ That’s the thing you wanna hit, right? I said, ‘I think he’s got that one wrong. Isn’t that what you’re supposed to hit?’"

Trump on the other hand, hit back at Biden’s response and said that Israel should attack Iran’s entire nuclear facility.

The 45th president said he rebuilt the "entire military, jets everything, I built it, including nuclear.”

"I hated to build the nuclear, but I got to know firsthand the power of that stuff, and I’ll tell you what: we have to be totally prepared. We have to be absolutely prepared,” Trump said.

Trump said that instead, Biden should have answered, “‘Hit the nuclear first, worry about the rest later.'"

He said nuclear is the most significant risk to the United States, and Biden is willfully telling Israel to do nothing and let Iran attack it.

“I mean, to make the statement, ‘Please leave their nuclear alone.' I would tell you that that’s not the right answer. That was the craziest answer because you know what? Soon, they’re going to have nuclear weapons. And then you’re going to have problems,” he added.

Just one day after Iran attacked Israel by launching 180 ballistic missiles into the Jewish state, Biden urged the Jewish State not to retaliate and escalate the war further.

“The answer is no,” Biden said when asked if he supports Israel potentially carrying out strikes on Iranian nuclear sites.

The Biden-Harris Administration has faced criticism after bending over backward to help illegal immigrants and not its own allies.

However, according to Biden, no one has helped Israel more than he has.
