It's Time to Boycott the Olympics

Following backlash from the Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics, spokesperson Anne Descamps said that the performance was never meant to insult or disrespect Christianity.

"We believe this ambition was achieved. If people have taken any offence we are really sorry," she said.

The artistic director behind the performance, Thomas Jolly, claimed that it was not inspired by the "Last Supper," but rather a depiction of a pagan feast linked to the gods of Olympus.

"You will never find in my work a desire to denigrate anyone or anything," he said.

The Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics drew intense outrage after drag queens appeared to mock the "Last Supper."

During the opening scene, a group of 18 drag performers, including children, struck poses in front of a long table around a lavishly dressed woman wearing a silver headdress that resembled a halo as depicted in paintings of Jesus.

The Olympics claimed the performance was an “interpretation of the Greek God [of wine and festivity] Dionysus” to make “us aware of the absurdity of violence between human beings.”

The camera then flashed to a woman, supposedly depicting Marie Antoinette, who was holding a bloody severed head and sporting drag-style makeup.

Social media ignited a storm of fury, calling for the boycott of the Olympics.

Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse, the performance featured a "pale horse," which is straight out of the book of Revelations.

Harrison Butker released a statement in response to the Opening Ceremony of the Olympics, writing, “Be not deceived, God is not mocked. For what things a man shall sow, those also shall he reap. For he that soweth in his flesh, of the flesh also shall reap corruption. But he that soweth in the spirit, of the spirit shall reap life everlasting.”

In another scene, there appears to be a balloon floating past the Statue of Liberty, with many suggesting it is subliminal messaging of an attack on the United States.
