January 6, 2021: the day Democrats kicked off their political theater.
This week, MSNBC anchor Jonathan Capehart got emotional while discussing the events of the Jan. 6 Capitol Hill protests.
While speaking with ex-Capitol Police officer Michael Fanone, Capehart burst into tears watching made-for-television moments and carefully choreographed scenes of the so-called “insurrection.”
“Thank you for what you did three years ago today. Please, tell me your thoughts on this third anniversary,” Capehart said, holding back tears.
“We are still in the midst of the fight that began on Jan. 6, 2021, and we have a lot at stake in this country. And I think that it deserves every American’s attention,” Fanone replied.
Fanon was one of several Capitol Hill Police officers who became the Democrat Party’s push to demonize law enforcement after they shouted, “All cops are bastards” and “No justice, no peace.”
After “rioting is the language of the unheard” was used to justify months-long riots and assaults on police, the same people have heaped praise upon Fanone and his colleagues, such as Harry Dunn, for their “heroism” displayed during the minor riot. His testimony was used by Nancy Pelosi’s January 6 Committee, which defied congressional rules by not allowing then House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) to appoint his own members.— Trending Politics
Fanone took the opportunity to criticize former President Trump’s promise to pardon January 6 prisoners if re-elected.
“I mean, you’ve got to think about those individuals that received those lengthy sentences. They did so because a) they engaged in an Insurrection. But their actions that day were violent, and that violence was directed towards law enforcement officers. And so… I think it’s clear that they deserve the sentences that they received,” he said.
Fanone also claimed that by Trump showing sympathy for the J6 prisoners, he is excusing their actions.
