AZ Sen: McSally Unloads on Chinese Communist Party for COVID-19 Cover Up

Sen. Martha McSally’s (R-AZ) re-election campaign released a blistering ad condemning the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and the regime’s coverup of coronavirus. The ad comes on the heels of a new scandal surrounding Sen. McSally’s Democratic challenger, Mark Kelly, who has business ties to China.

Holding China and the CCP accountable for their negligence surrounding coronavirus is now a partisan issue; GOP lawmakers have advocated for investigations into China’s handling of the Wuhan-originated pandemic, while Democrats have turned a blind eye to the CCP’s hand in the outbreak.

Sen. McSally took charge as one of the loudest voices of opposition to the CCP, and continues to advocate for lawmakers to hold the communist regime, as well as the World Health Organization (WHO), accountable.

Sen. McSally was the first elected official to call for the Director-General of the WHO to resign on account of complicity with China and the CCP:

"I’ve never trusted a communist. And their cover-up of this virus that originated with them has caused unnecessary deaths around America and around the world, so this report is not surprising at all. The WHO needs to stop covering for them. I think Dr. Tedros needs to step down. We need to take some action to address this issue. It's just irresponsible, it’s unconscionable what they have done here while we have people dying across the globe," Sen. McSally said in early April.

Holding the Chinese government accountable should not present a partisan divide; the CCP’s actions have cost Americans their lives. Democrats should join GOP lawmakers in standing up to the communist regime. While her Democratic opponent uses the CCP for business, Sen. McSally stands up for the American people affected by the communist regime’s shameless cover-up.
