Following the pattern of unhinged outrage from the left as the senate prepares to confirm Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, the National Women’s Law Center hosted an event protesting Kavanaugh’s nomination. Featured speakers, including Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, ranted and raved about how Kavanaugh’s likely confirmation will be the end of the world as we know it for women.
Per the Daily Caller, one activist in particular spouted some unusually deranged comments about Judge Kavanaugh. Nicanora Montenegro, of San Diego’s chapter of the Asian Pacific American Labor Alliance, explicitly claimed that all women oppose Judge Kavanaugh, and that his nomination to the high court will result in the end of America as we know it:
“And that Brett Kavanaugh is a grave threat for women’s rights, grave threat to labor rights, grave threat for immigrants rights, grave threat to workers rights, grave threat to our union...We women unitedly disagree with the appointment of Brett Kavanaugh to a lifetime seat in the highest judiciary system in our land,” she declared.
Even more, Montenegro claimed that the weather was in opposition of Judge Kavanaugh:
“The sky is even crying. Yes, the sky is crying for the American people. If we are not heard, if we are not listened to, if our voices are sat down, then who is America?” she asked the crowd of progressive allies.

This stunt by allies of the National Women’s Law Center is not the first, and will not be the last, desperate attempt by liberal groups to halt Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the highest court in October. Left-leaning women’s groups rationalize that a Justice Kavanaugh would move women backwards, and turn the United States into a version of the Handmaid’s Tale.
