N.J. Gov. Chris Christie = The Real Deal

Three cheers for New Jersey Governor Chris Christie! In a matter of days, the Republican has managed to take on powerful labor unions and passed budget measures which

cut spending for the state's spiraling $46 billion state employee pension hole--a feat the state legislature has been unable to accomplish for years.

In addition, Gov. Christie has also found a way to effectively reduce his state's government funding of Planned Parenthood--the nation's leading abortion provider. In his first budget, Christie proposed eliminating all funds for the state's "family planning" program. As a result, no state money can be funneled through the program to pay for abortions or to advance the agenda of Planned Parenthood in New Jersey.
