Will Stupak Be Silenced by Executive Order?

Just when you thought the abortion issue was dropped, the sharks are circling and new rumors abound.

Pelosi knows if Dems adopt Stupak's abortion language pro-choice Dems will pull their votes.  Pelosi has

confirmed there will be no separate vote on the Stupak language.

But Obama and the Democrats undoubtedly don't want a a noticeable division within their party over an issue like abortion--especially since pro-choice liberals are in the minority in America these days.  So what to do?

An executive order.

Both the National Review and The Atlantic are reporting rumors that Democrats are working on drafting an executive order with Stupak-like language to try and pacify Stupak and other pro-life Dems.

Michelle Malkin responds to the rumors:

If Democrat Rep. Bart Stupak and his pro-life colleagues are feckless enough to sign on to the nationalization of 1/6 of the American economy and the bottomless generational debt it will incur for another worthless Obama promise and empty scrap of paper, God help us all.

Amen.

Coming up: President Obama plans to meet with the Democratic caucus at 3:00.
