Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Md., has declared that the House of Representatives will not meet again or accept votes for the rest of the week because of the weather conditions in and around Washington.  In response, Republican Rep. Lynne Jenkins, R-Kansas, tweeted:
Votes canceled today for the House..politicians not in Washington = your pocketbook is safe.

Lets all breathe a collective sigh of relief as "global warming" continues to wreak havoc the nation's capital.  With forecasts calling for another 10 to 20 inches of snow to fall starting this evening and the Presidents Day holiday recess next week, Congress will remain out of commission until February 22.
