Today's Washington Post features an article entitled, "Obama's Many Policy 'Czars' Draw Ire From Conservatives," which examines the history of executive-appointed czars.  Though estimates vary, the Post points out that President Obama now has at least 30 "czar" positions--of which only 12 existed prior to his administration.
