Denver Democrat HQ Office Vandalized by Leftist

A 24-year-old was arrested early this morning on suspicion he smashed 11 windows of the Colorado Democrat Party office headquarters.

Maurice Schwenkler is being held responsible for the vandalism, along with an unidentified accomplice.  Though Schwenkler is not registered in the state's voter database, a person of the same name *coincidentally* received $500 from a political 527 committee called Colorado Citizens Coalition for "communications" work in November 2008.

The accountant for the Colorado Citizens Coalition also maintains the books for a number of other Left-leaning political organizations across the state.

The smashed windows were covered with posters advertising Pres. Barack Obama and the Democrats' health care reform plan.  According to the Denver Post, state Democrat Party Chairwoman Pat Waak was quick to jump to conclusions on possible motives for the vandalism--initially blaming the act on "animosity" surrounding the ongoing health care debate.  Denver police, however, declined to comment on possible motives.

Regardless of the lack of any evidence to support her claim, Waak stated:

"We ought to be having a serious, conscientious debate about what's best for the country," Waak said.  "Clearly there's been an effort on the other side to stir up hate.  I think this is the consequence of it."

It couldn't have been a young liberal!!  Schwenkler must be a member of one of those elusive organized swastika-carrying mobs the Dems keep talking about...
