Is WaPo Serious With This Headline About Charlie Kirk's Memorial Service?

Charlie Kirk’s memorial service was held in Glendale, Arizona, at the State Farm Stadium. Hundreds of thousands gathered to attend. The venue was filled, with scores more gathering outside. Everyone in the conservative movement attended to pay their respects to the Turning Point USA founder, who became one of the nation’s most influential commentators and activists. And President Trump was there, so it’s a bit puzzling that The Washington Post would fume over the security at the venue, one where an armed man trespassed and was caught by Secret Service over the weekend:

PHOENIX — With security on the level of a Super Bowl and a speaker lineup on par with a state funeral, conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s service will combine memorial with political rally, requiring an unprecedented level of resources.

Law enforcement agencies have executed extensive security measures to address the risks of a rare gathering with much of the presidential line of succession present inside an NFL stadium. Five hundred to 800 Secret Service officers have been deployed to the Phoenix area to help secure the event, according a local official briefed on the figure by law enforcement, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss security plans. The Department of Homeland Security has given the memorial its highest security designation, which is typically reserved for Super Bowls.

“This designation is reserved for events of the highest national significance and enables the federal government to provide the full range of law enforcement and security resources necessary to support local officials in ensuring a safe and successful event,” said a DHS senior official, who also spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss the security plans.

And? Charlie Kirk was assassinated on September 10 at Utah Valley University in Orem, you clowns. And the president is going to be there, along with other top Trump officials—there’s going to be high security. This isn’t that hard

‘Oh my god, look at all this security; it’s going to cost so much money.’  Yes, because the president is there, and you people shot and killed one of us.

Absolute morons
