The 2024 election is over, and Kamala Harris and the Democrats lost. They lost the White House and Congress. President-elect Donald J. Trump, to the horror of the Left, is coming into power again with a unified government. And all Democrats have is some cockamamie talking point about “shallow” landslides and winning Senate races in states Trump won, leading to possibly one of the funniest coping social media posts ever.

The huffy “fact” caption is the cherry on top. Donald Trump won every swing state, sweeping Kamala, so I’m not sure this is a massive flex. It’s a loser mentality. Like in sports, this is like celebrating a great regular season while ignoring a playoff blowout. It’s akin to celebrating a four-win winning streak, whereas your team got obliterated in every other game or contest. It’s like patting yourself on the back for dropping over 50 points in a championship basketball game but losing the matchup. No one celebrates a quarterback who throws for over 350 yards, three touchdowns, no picks, but doesn’t win the game.
As a die-hard New York Ranger fan, I was mortified that a ‘regular season champions’ banner is hanging at Madison Square Garden for our 2023-24 season, where the Blueshirts won the Metropolitan Division and the Presidents’ Trophy. It’s nice, but we didn’t win the Stanley Cup.
Democrats don’t have much to cling to right now. They got rolled in the 2024 elections. The GOP is now a multiracial working-class party, with young voters’ approval of Donald Trump being like that of Barack Obama’s popularity when he was president. That must make liberals throw up in their mouths.
