The View Host: Yeah, Someone Should Take Trump Out Back And Beat Him Up

The View Host: Yeah, Someone Should Take Trump Out Back And Beat Him Up

So, of course, ABC’s The View decided to weigh in on former Vice President Joe Biden’s remarks that he would have beaten up Donald Trump in high school. Yeah, that’s right, folks—we’re going there. It’s a bit funny. I mean, Trump’s response was gold.

“Crazy Joe Biden is trying to act like a tough guy. Actually, he is weak, both mentally and physically, and yet he threatens me, for the second time, with physical assault. He doesn’t know me, but he would go down fast and hard, crying all the way. Don’t threaten people Joe!”

And then, there’s co-host Sunny Hostin, who thought there was something “chivalrous” about it (via Free Beacon):

Hostin implied she found Biden's comments admirable, even going as far as to say they were "chivalrous."

"There was something chivalrous about it," Hostin said. "I thought you know … there was something about that because he was speaking at an event where he was encouraging men to stick up for women, not just be bystanders."

"That's an old-school thing," Joy Behar added.

Whoopi Goldberg suggested Biden and Trump could sit down with First Lady Melania Trump to discuss bullying, a tongue-in-cheek reference to a campaign the first lady recently launched to tackle cyber-bullying.

"Trump is such a bully," Hostin said. "I hate to say this, why hasn't anyone taken him out back and kicked his little butt?"

"We shouldn't be advocating for violence," Meghan McCain responded.

"Why doesn't anyone just stand up to him?" Hostin asked.

McCain expressed her frustration with the entire topic, noting that Trump was still the leader of the free world. McCain also stated she hoped the country and "The View" would focus on more pressing issues.

"He's the President of the United States, you want someone to take him out back and beat the crap out of him?" McCain asked. "That's not reality. Let's talk about the debt. I can't [do that] with all of this."

"Look, I'm not advocating beating up the president," Hostin said. "But why doesn't anybody just … stand up to him?"

McCain’s remarks drew a round of applause in her criticism of this liberal fantasy of beating up the president because they’re still incensed that old, sick Hillary just didn’t have the energy to win. Hey, I’m still laughing at this whole scenario of a fistfight between Trump and Biden. Maybe he’s trying to show he’s a tough guy who could dole out punishment to Trump on a debate stage, laying the groundwork for a 2020 run. I don’t think that’s the case. Biden is also a two-time presidential loser. He’s not necessarily someone who captures the new and more vibrant direction the base wants to take in the next election. Also, while he may threaten Trump’s support among white working class individuals, he screams Washington establishment, which isn’t a plus nowadays. Even MSNBC said the party has moved on from Joe, with Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski saying Biden’s words are not helpful

On that end, yes, if this were a Democrat and someone said they hoped to see them get the crap kicked out of them—the liberal news media would probably go ballistic. Alas, the benefits of the Democrat media complex am I right?
